Welcome To Ponte Vedra Beach!
Ponte Vedra Beach is a thriving seaside community and upmarket tourist resort especially known for its world renowned golf courses. But don't let the ocean breezes or pristine greens fool you! Ponte Vedra Beach Making a Name for Itself
St Johns County has been voted as one of the best places to live in Florida by both CNN and Money Magazine which named Ponte Vedra in the top 50 places to live in the US as well as being the best place to live in Florida. Despite a fairly low population density compared to other Floridian counties, St Johns County has the second highest per capita income in Florida. Even with appreciating real estate, the real estate taxes in St. Johns County remain low. Homebuyers are drawn to Ponte Vedra Beach as a result of its growing economy and low cost of living.
Education Matters to Homeowners
Ponte Vedra is known for its award winning public schools. St. Johns County School District has received an overall "A" grade for six years in a row, and is one of only 10 school districts in the state to have achieved that award. Ponte Vedra is also home to a Bolles Elementary School Campus. The Bolles School is a private college preparatory with an international reputation for excellence. Great education is another reason why families continue to search for homes in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Recreation is an important part of the Ponte Vedra Beach lifestyle. Ponte Vedra Beach boasts over 135 holes of stunning golf including numerous golf course communities (Sawgrass Country Club, Sawgrass Players Club, The Valley Course, Marsh Landing, Palencia and the Plantation Club). Travel and Leisure Golf's "2008 World's Best Golf Resorts Reader's Survey" has named TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach the #1, "Best Course in Florida". The Stadium Course at the PGA Tour's flagship TPC Sawgrass is home to The Players Championship, golf's richest tournament. Ponte Vedra Beach boasts over 44 professional tennis courts - including the HQ of the Association of Tennis Professionals. Ponte Vedra Beach and Sawgrass Country Club will host the MPS Group Championship, a top womens professional tennis tournament for the first time in April of 2009. The championship is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and features some of the world's top tennis players. The Guana River State Park has 55,000 acres of salt marsh and tidelands and miles of pristine unpopulated beaches. There are ramps into the Guana River for small boats to enjoy fishing and canoeing. Nine miles of trails take you through the marsh and a hammock of trees for hiking, biking or birding. Ponte Vedra Beach residents support the arts and culture with the Beaches Fine Arts Series and through BRASS (Beaches Residents Actively Supporting the Symphony).
